Title          -> Duke Smurfem 3D v1.10
Filename       -> SMURFEM.GRP

Misc. Info -> I am going away to Germany for a while...
Description -> Oh no! Duke's been Smurfed! Now he sounds like he's been
                  sucking on helium! In order to be un-Smurfed, Duke's gonna
                  have to get past the Queen and her drones that protect the
                  Desmurfilator Device. This means Duke will have to kick
                  the smurf out of every alien sonuvasmurf that gets in his
                  way.

                  Okay, so that story sucks. Pretty good for a two-minute
                  brainstorm, huh?

                  Anyhoo, I started this project over a year ago then forgot
                  about it. I recently rediscovered it and so now I'm trying
                  to get it done (and do a good job of it too!).

                  I got the "smurf talk" to work by increasing the pitch by
                  750 units in the user.con.

Requirements    -> *Duke Nukem 3D - Atomic Edition v1.5
                   *About 11MB freespace to install
Play tips -> *Conserve ammo: Wack a Pigcop or Enforcer once with the
                    shotgun, then quickly swich over to the handgun or chain-
                    gun to finish him with as few as one bullet! (Or kick
                    'em while you reload).
                   *Learn to kick and shoot at the same time! When somebody
                    is in your face, it saves you ammo, and it saves your
                    butt sometimes.
                   *A quick and easy way to swich over to the Expander is to
                    hold your FIRE key and push the NEXT WEAPON key. If you
                    have expander ammo, this will usually cause you to swich
                    over.
                   *Bonus Healths can increase your health above 100. Try to
                    get up to 100 health points before collecting the bonus
                    healths.
                   *Low on health and armor? Blowing up a corpse will
                    sometimes reward you with a special bonus.
                   *Using the View Mode (F7) in DukeMatch can sometimes help
                    you ferret out your opponent if he's hiding behind a mask
                    wall that you might not know about. Plus, it's good for
                    peering around corners without getting your head shot.

** CONSTRUCTION **
Base            -> New code
Build Time -> Began: I guess around June 1, 1998
                   Last modified:  May 9, 1999
Editor(s) used  -> Ken Silverman's Build utilities, Goldwave, Anim2PCX
Known bugs -> *When using a non-blue keycard, Duke Smurfem's arm is also
                    non-blue.
                   *A player's sprite pallette isn't copied to his hands,
                    so if you end up as a red smurf in multi-player your
                    hands are still going to be blue.
                   *Duke's not ALL Smurfy blue yet! This will be fixed
                    bit-by-bit, and hopefully completed soon! (I am NOT
                    going to mess around with a little Smurf tail, though;
                    I'm too busy to bother with that.)
